The Bhagavad Gita is one of the great scriptures of mankind. Originating in India, it documents a conversation between Krishna and Arjuna on a battlefield just prior to the commencement of hostilities.

There are many translations of the Bhagavad Gita available. This translation by Swami Tapasyananda was chosen for its clarity and insight. His summary of each chapter is also included.

My Sanskrit pronunciations are not entirely accurate. In fact, sometimes they are way off the mark. My apologies. I would like to share this work despite these imperfections of mine.

The book can be ordered from the Ramakrishna Math in Chennai, India. It is titled Srimad Bhagavad Gita: The Scripture of Mankind (Ordinary-Economy edition).
